Steel Structures works with main contractors, consulting engineers and local builders to assess practical options while the design can still be developed.

From early steelwork budgets and buildability reviews to programme planning and tender pricing, we bring the practical perspective of an experienced fabricator to the pre-construction process.

Based at our Dunmurry works, we coordinate the design process and deliver Tekla detailing in-house, supporting projects from initial discussions through to fabrication and installation.

How it works

1. 01Share your requirements: drawings, structural information or an outline of the building.
2. 02We review the scope, buildability, execution class, programme and the information needed to progress.
3. 03We quote on the agreed scope, with practical input on fabrication, delivery and installation.
4. 04Once appointed, and approved-for-construction drawings with end reaction loadings are received, connection design is arranged and incorporated into the Tekla fabrication drawings.
